Checkout Operator of the Year 2012 Results

The five finalists from all over New Zealand congregated in Auckland recently for their final assessments with the final results being announced at the 2012 SuperValue / FreshChoice conference dinner which was held at the Sails Restaurant over looking the Auckland Westhaven Marina.

The winner, Chelsea Schellingerhout from FreshChoice Te Awamutu spoke briefly of her experience during the competition and thanked the team at her supermarket for the excellent training and support she had received.  She was also looking forward to spending the $3,000 prize money and displaying her certificate at the store.

Runners up were Jackie Jenkins from FC Takaka, second place ($2,000) and Di Pannett third from Methven SuperValue ($1,000) - a great effort and congratulations to them both.  To Glenys Harrison from Oxford SV and Swetha Grama from Titirangi SV who both reached the National Finals - what a fantastic achievement - well done.
