Christmas Cupcakes
                    The fun is in the decorating!
Get the kids involved this Christmas with this simple cupcake recipe. Decorate with your favourite seasonal treats. 
Ingredients
- 150g butter
 - 1 ½ cups caster sugar
 - 2 eggs
 - 2 tsp vanilla essence
 - 2 ½ cups of self raising flour
 - 1 ¼ cups of milk
 
To decorate
- Icing - coloured and flavoured with your favourite food dyes and essences
 - Christmas treats - chocolate Santas, sprinkles, chocolate coins etc
 
Method
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
 - Beat the butter in a bowl, add the caster sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
 - Add the eggs and mix well. Follow with vanilla, flour, and milk, mix until smooth.
 - Place cupcake cases in a muffin tray. Pour in the mixture until they are 2/3 full.
 - Bake in the oven for approximately 20 minutes or until golden and a skewer inserted comes out clean.
 - Wait until cool and then ice. Decorate with your favourite Christmas treats.
