Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake

A delicious creamy pasta recipe for the whole family

If you love cheese, then you'll love this pasta recipe. It's a take on a macaroni and cheese but with some tasty changes.


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 chicken breasts, cubed
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic Crushed
  • 2 ½ cups chicken Stock
  • 2 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 450g penne pasta
  • 220g Parmesan cheese
  • 230 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 handful fresh parsley, chopped

  1. In a pot, heat oil and add the diced chicken.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Add garlic, then brown the chicken.
  4. Add Chicken Stock, cream, and pasta, and bring to a boil.
  5. Cover and reduce the heat to a simmer for 15-20 min.
  6. Turn off heat and stir in 2/3 of the parmesan cheese.
  7. Pour half of the pasta into a greased baking dish. - ideally close to 30x20cm
  8. Sprinkle evenly with half of the mozzarella cheese.
  9. Add the rest of pasta evenly across as a 2nd layer. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and parmesan across the top.
  10. Add pasta bake back into the oven for 10 - 15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown. Remove and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
