Barbecue Pork Chops
A easy pork dish, perfect for barbecue season

Grilled to perfection, these barbecue pork ribs are finger-licking good!

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper and salt

Method

  1. To prepare the marinade combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
  2. Place the ribs in a high sided baking dish or large bowl. Coat both sides of the pork chops in marinade; making sure to reserve ¼ of the marinade for basting the chops. Cover and place in the refrigerator, allow for the chops to marinate for at least 3-6 hours, make sure to turn occasionally.
  3. Preheat the barbecue to medium high heat.
  4. Grill the chops, basting with the reserved marinade as you cook. Continue to grill until the pork is browned and the juices run clear (approximately 6-8 minutes per side).
  5. Remove from the grill and cover. Allow for the meat to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
