Cauliflower Cheese Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs plain flour
  • 60g butter
  • 2 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 tbs dijon mustard
  • 2 cup cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

Method

  1. Separate cauliflower into large florets. Cook cauliflower in boiling, salted water for 3-4 minutes or until just tender. Drain and transfer to a greased oven-proof baking dish.
  2. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  3. Melt butter in a medium saucepan, stir in flour and cook over a gentle heat for 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk and bring to the boil. Add mustard and 1 1/2 cups cheese. Stir until cheese has melted and sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour sauce over cauliflower. Sprinkle with combined breadcrumbs and remaining cheese.’
