Fruit Kebabs
Delicious, healthy and the kids will love them!
Get your 5+ a day intake with these fresh fruit kebabs. Simple to make and delicious to eat, they make for a fun lunchbox filler.
Ingredients
- Melon
- Grapes (sliced lengthways for young children)
- Pineapple
- Berries
- Kiwis
- Pineapple
- Mint leaves (optional)
Method
- Prepare the fruit by washing, pat drying and cutting large fruit into slices or chunks.
- Take the wooden skewers and thread each fruit one by one onto the skewer, if using mint divide each piece of fruit with a small leaf (or half a large leaf).
Handy Tips
Make the most of fresh produce in season and test out some different flavour, colour and texture combinations.
For a sweet fix add marshmallows!
