Bacon & Noodle Slice

Quick, cheap, and easy!


  • 4 x 85g packets of Instant Chicken Noodles
  • 250g middle bacon, rind removed, finely shredded
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 5 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • ½ cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • mixed salad, to serve

  1. Preheat oven to 180°c. Grease an 8-cup capacity baking dish. Cook noodles as per packet instructions. Drain well.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add bacon and cook for 5 minutes or until golden. Set aside to cool.
  3. Whisk eggs and milk together in a large bowl. Add noodles, bacon, onion, peas, flour, and cheese to the egg mixture. Stir until combined. Transfer to prepared baking dish. Bake for 35 minutes or until cooked through and golden. Serve with a mixed salad.
