Lamb Korma

Korma is a mild curry from the North of India, where meat is cooked in a sauce of yoghurt, nuts and spices.

Lamb Korma is an easy recipe to make and you can cook it on the cooktop. The aroma from the spices wafting through the house really gets your hunger going.

Ingredients

  • 500g Lamb Steaks, Diced
  • 1 Medium Onion, Sliced
  • 210g Wattie’s Korma Curry Sauce
  • 4 Tbsp Greek Style Yoghurt
  • 2 cups Cooked Basmati Rice

Method

  1. Heat a frying pan till it reaches medium heat, and then add a splash of oil, the lamb, and onions. Stir-fry until the lamb is lightly browned.
  2. Reduce heat and pour over the Wattie’s Korma Curry Sauce. Cover and simmer until the meat is cooked.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir through the yoghurt.
  4. Serve with cooked basmati rice.
