Traditional Yorkshire Puddings


Traditionally served with a good hearty roast like Beef, and bucket loads of homemade gravy


  • Cooking Oil
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 100g Plain Flour
  • 100ml Whole Milk

  1. Preheat the oven to 225°C Fan Forced.
  2. Using a 12 hole muffin tray (something with some reasonable depth), pour enough oil in to just cover the base of each muffin hole.
  3. Pop the muffin tray into the oven for 10-15 minutes so the oil gets really hot.
  4. Meanwhile, beat the eggs, milk, flour, and a pinch of salt/pepper together in a jug until light and smooth.
  5. Carefully remove the muffin tray from the oven, and pour the batter max evenly across the 12 compartments.
  6. Pop the tray back in the oven to cook for 12-15 minutes, or until risen and golden.
