Ciabatta Pizza

Try this easy to follow Ciabatta Pizza recipe. A wonderfully inventive take on an Italian classic.


  • 1 tbs basil, chopped
  • 3 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 pinch pepper (for seasoning)
  • 30g baby rocket leaves (to serve)
  • 310g roasted pepper strips, drained
  • 60g salami, sliced
  • 1/4 cup black olives, pitted
  • 1 cup mozzarella, grated
  • 1 ciabatta loaf, halved lengthways
  • 1 pinch sea salt ground (to taste)

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Lay bread halves onto a baking tray. Halve tomatoes crossways and scoop out seeds with a teaspoon. Dice and transfer to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Add basil and toss to combine. Spread over bread.
  2. Top bread with salami, capsicum and olives. Sprinkle cheese over and bake for 10 minutes until cheese has melted. Top with rocket and serve.
