Ciabatta Pizza
Try this easy to follow Ciabatta Pizza recipe. A wonderfully inventive take on an Italian classic.
Ingredients
- 1 tbs basil, chopped
- 3 ripe tomatoes
- 1 pinch pepper (for seasoning)
- 30g baby rocket leaves (to serve)
- 310g roasted pepper strips, drained
- 60g salami, sliced
- 1/4 cup black olives, pitted
- 1 cup mozzarella, grated
- 1 ciabatta loaf, halved lengthways
- 1 pinch sea salt ground (to taste)
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C. Lay bread halves onto a baking tray. Halve tomatoes crossways and scoop out seeds with a teaspoon. Dice and transfer to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Add basil and toss to combine. Spread over bread.
- Top bread with salami, capsicum and olives. Sprinkle cheese over and bake for 10 minutes until cheese has melted. Top with rocket and serve.
